I appreciate Maddie's opinions and researched supported knowledge about weight loss and her less-is-more approach with excessive medications. It is evident she stays up to date on what the latest research supports and trends being seen in their clinic and feedback she receives from other patients and clinicians .

Dr. Godfrey is one of the only 2 doctors that I have worked with in the past 13 years of my PCOS journey that actually listen to me and were compassionate and understanding about my issue. Most people just told me to lose weight, but she listened and went above and beyond to ensure that I had the medicine I needed when my insurance changed and kept consistent contact with me to ensure I had what I needed. I did not have the faith she had in my weight loss journey because of the years of failed attempts I have had, but she was patient and kind even when medicine we tried didn't work, she found other ones that ended up working better. I coudn't have asked for a better doctor to help me through this and answer my questions without making me feel like I was failing as a human because I couldn't lose weight. I think the fac that she believed I could and was kind made the entire difference to my progress right now. Thank you for helping me see past what all other doctors have assumed and believed that I was incapable of doing what I was told. For seeing that I was doing what I said and that I was doing everything right I just needed extra help because of my hormones and insulin levels. I never thought I would be here, I am not where I want to be yet, but I actually have hope that I will be there and that is something I didn't have for over 13 years. So, thank you so much for being my doctor.
