My visit today was not for medical reasons but to get a physical assessment for graduate school. However, even the short encounter I had with Dr Anderson was uncomfortable. I could hear Dr. Anderson speaking very loudly and assertively on the phone outside my room prior to her coming in. After waiting for 30 minutes in the exam room, she came in very flustered and made the appointment feel very rushed. If that appointment were to address a concern I would not have felt very comfortable talking openly as I could tell she had a lot on her plate and my visit was not her priority in that moment. I realize this is a flaw in the health care system and not Dr. Anderson herself, but I do not think I will be returning to this office for my care.

Dr Anderson is very easy to talk to, she understands my concerns and shows compassion and makes useful suggestions for my care. She is the best primary care physician I have had at VUMC.
