I did not receive an understandable explanation about the MRI reading nor did I receive a clear recommendation about moving forward. I have more concerns after the visit than before because I feel he wasn't listening to me.

For the first time ever, the Doctor is going to treat the problem (bad knee causing frequent falls) rather than treating the increasingly serious injuries caused!
