Dr. Buendia has excellent communication. He never seems rushed and we are consistently able to ask all our questions and get helpful clarifications.

It was our first visit and I was impressed that the doctor review the records prior to us arriving. I was also impressed with how much he knew about EOE. But mostly I am impressed that he truly listened to us and had me and my daughter a part of her care. We are very happy!

He was really great with my child. My child is very shy, and a bit untrusting of strangers naturally and Dr. Buendia made him feel comfortable enough to talk and be playful. Even when he was talking about the serious stuff he was also talking to my son. It was a really great dr experience.

Dr was very respectful of my autonomy as a mother, listened to me and my concerns, validated me, and considered my opinion/feelings when discussing interventions/treatments. Overall it was very different than other providers where I felt supported and not dismissed.
