She was amazing! I love how she took time to explain different information to me. I felt very comfortable talking to her. She didn't make me feel rushed on anything. She took her time and answered all my questions.

Words can't fully express how wonderful our visit with Shai was. I had read glowing reviews on the Vandy website beforehand and had high expectations, and she absolutely exceeded them! She listened carefully, never made me feel rushed, and engaged so well with my child, making both of us feel comfortable. It was clear she truly understood him, our family, and our situation. She gave me hope that we can navigate this journey and made me feel genuinely supported. VUMC is incredibly fortunate to have Shai!

This appointment was the best medical experience I have ever had for myself or my child in my entire life. Never have I experienced such genuine goodwill, compassion, expertise, and understanding as I did from our doctor. Never have I felt so heard and listened to, and I finally felt like I had found a medical professional who was genuinely interested in best supporting my child as an individual but also me as his parent. I am blown away by the positive experience and so very grateful to feel at ease about the next steps.

I could not have asked for someone better to work with me and my child. She listened, she studied, and saw past the mask my child her provider listened to me and didn't just write my concerns off. She was respectful of my child, didn't stress her, and saw her and her struggles. Well worth the 18 month wait for her provider.

She is amazing. She listens to my concerns and more importantly hears them. Proposed treatments and clearly explained why she recommended these treatments, but further respected when I didn't want to pursue options on that day.

As stated before this provider has a great bedside manner and is easy to talk to. She seems to welcome questions and responds to messages very quickly, even out of hours.

I was very pleased that they listened to me and what all concerns I had for my son.
