Dr was attentive, professional and good listener. He understood my problem and easy to understand the follow up plan.

Dr. Drolet Is obviously an incredible surgeon, but one of the things that sets him apart is he understands that a patient's relationship to their limbs or digits goes deeper than just function or aesthetics. I was in despair after being scheduled for an amputation of my index finger. It is neither pretty nor all that functional due to being crushed 20 years ago. Yet I couldn't stand the thought of losing it. It has literally been on the chopping block three times - and each time it has defied the odds and said, Not today. Rationally, I may be better off with three fully functional fingers (and a thumb) but the thought of looking at a mutilated hand for the rest of my life was unbearable. Dr. Drolet has stepped in with a plan to save it and I'm forever grateful he's willing to take the long shot. I know it may not work out, but I'll also know that everything possible was attempted, and that my hands are in the best of hands.

Dr Drolet was excellent! He explained the options, treatments, etc in a very easy to understand manner.
