Dr. Gelbard was skilled, compassionate and encouraging of all my questions. I feel that I am in excellent hands with such a world expert on idiopathic subglottic stenosis. I appreciate all the groundbreaking research he has spearheaded in this field. The resident Dr. Torrey Lee was also excellent in her history taking and exam.

I really like Dr Gelbard's approach, he's easy going, easy to talk to and his demeanor makes you feel your health is his first priority. We have a good rapport and he is excellent with not only explaining what he's doing but why. Back in Feb of this year I had been on a roller coaster of care from two other hospitals and I arrived at Vanderbilt just in time for him to literally save my life within minutes of reaching my expiration date. I wouldn't say anything bad about him if someone had a gun to my head. Our journey is not over, we have one more big hurdle along with a few small ones. Anchor down
