Dr. Mooney is very thorough and extremely practical which I very much appreciate!

Very straightforward. Easy to understand.

It felt like the doctor did not have time to see me. They did not appear concerned and did not seem to examine my injury thoroughly. The doctor did refer my for PT (for which I am grateful), but at my first PT session, my Physical Therapist noted the pain and lack of mobility seemed to step from an injured area my doctor did not catch, examine, or consider. My doctor claimed hip flexor strain, while PT did further checks and indicated labrum involvement as well. I felt like my doctor was not listening to me in the appt and seemed to want to hurry out as quickly as possible. They did not look at the injured area, only did 2 flexibility checks (my PT did 8 different checks), and they seemed unconcerned about my experience and treatment.

Dr. Mooney legitimately acted annoyed that I had any questions about my child's fracture. She presented very little information to me initially so of course I had questions! She seemed rushed to get us to the cast room. It was such a confusing interaction for a Vanderbilt doctor who specializes in pediatrics!!!! I know we were an add on and appreciate her seeing us but this was so disappointing.
