I had 2 cataract surgeries with Dr. Shieh and pre- and post-operative visits as well. I had an excellent experience every time with her. She is very clear in verbal counseling and provided very thorough written instructions for my pre- and post-operative care. She was attentive to me while I was being prepped for each surgery and always asked if I had any questions or concerns. Excellent!

Dr. Shieh was excellent. She took the time to explain everything to me, patiently answered all my questions, and in general was very considerate and kind. She was exceptional, and I'd highly recommend her.

Dr Shieh has always been professional, kind, caring and patient. Her interactions with me always have me leaving with the sense she genuinely cares!

My care provider was clear that we had a limited amount of time to chat and she endorsed the skills of her assistant. With that information in mind, I was sure to communicate efficiently with her. She did a wonderful job!

Dr Shieh was EXCELLENT! Also saw her resident Dr Siktberg for initial assessment. He was EXCELLENT too! They both have an extremely nice bedside manner. They did several tests. Had the most thorough eye exam ever! Dr Shieh prescribed several medications and referred me to the department's pharmacist to get it approved by my insurance company. No delay at all. Vanderbilt Pharmacy on the ball! In the end, Dr Shieh told me to keep next appointment with the Ocuoplastic doctor next month for further treatment. Would highly recommend Dr Shieh and resident Dr Siktberg! Thanks!
