Surgery Guide
When it’s your child, no surgery is routine.
You can help reassure yourself by preparing and learning more about your child's upcoming surgery.
Keep a folder with schedules, phone numbers, records and paperwork for easy reference. Research your child’s condition and upcoming surgery at our Family Resource Center. Or meet with our one of our child life specialists to learn about surgery and get support. To schedule a visit, call (615) 936-1840.
As you prepare for the day of surgery, it is important to spend time with family and loved ones and plan a homecoming celebration.
We're here to support you and your child before, during and after your hospital visit. Our surgeons provide care for children across many medical specialties.
The Surgery Center waiting area is located on the third floor. Families may take the elevators for the hospital or Doctors' Office Tower to enter the surgery center.
