Hypertension Program

The Pediatric Hypertension Program at Monroe Carell specializes in diagnosing and treating children with high blood pressure.

Our specialists will review your child’s medical history and complete a physical examination and urinalysis to determine your child’s blood pressure and underlying factors. Our hypertension specialists will recommend lifestyle changes and medications to improve your child’s health.

Additional testing may include laboratory studies of blood, heart, and urine; radiology; and 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. Patients may participate in clinical research studies to determine the cause of hypertension and best treatment options.
