Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Clinic
The Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) Clinic at Children’s Hospital was established in 2006. We provide comprehensive care for children and teens with TSC, including coordinating neurologic and non-neurologic care and ordering important screening studies such as imaging and blood tests.
Knowledge about TSC has increased tremendously over the past ten years. Newer therapies target this disease at the molecular level using mechanism-based therapeutic approaches. Our Vanderbilt TSC clinic works with many associated subspecialties including Neurology, Epilepsy, Neurosurgery, Neuropsychology, Pulmonary, Dermatology, Cardiology and Nephrology.
New patients should bring all relevant records including actual MRI scans and EEGs on a CD or DVD. For the initial visit, expect a 1 to 1.5-hour consultation with our care team.
