Great visit very concerned listened well and plenty of feedback

I was very disappointed in this providers bedside manner. Not only did he abruptly tell my child that she would probably never not have pain but her did not seem to help motivate or encourage her. It is absurd to tell her she will never have pain when in fact We are not solid on a diagnosis. This causing her to Immediately cry and become upset. We Spent over nine days in children's hospital and this was the most disappointing visit. In addition, meeting for the first time and asking for backstory I was cut off in every answer that I gave. I did not feel that he listened and was just checking boxes. As an employee of Vanderbilt and heavily involved in Patient experience , I was extremely disappointed. I do not plan to reschedule with this provider as I do not feel that is the right fit for my daughter.

Dr. Desai is excellent and treats his patients with respect and kindness.

Dr. Desai was great, he really took the time to talk to us and listened!!
