Dr. Pope's bedside manner was very poor. I almost had to force him to allow me time to ask questions. He would have been in and out of the room within three minutes had I not stopped him.. When asking questions it was almost like it was an inconvenience or bother but I was asking them

Waiting for over one hour in a pediatric care facility is very difficult for children and the child's care provider. The provider seemed to have time for our needs once in the room however, with such a long wait time establishing a patient/provider relationship tends to be more difficult. I was not please with the wait or the physicians bedside manor.

when I asked about concern if the plan may not work I was told " well the other route includes catheters, IVs and needles. This was told to me in front of my 6 year old and scared her. all I needed was reassurance not fear.

He listened to everything and then explained his test results to us. After that he spoke directly to my teen asking him his decisions about his body. I feel like it was so thoughtful that he was considering my sons opinion since it would be surgery on his body. The doctor took this time and answered every question my son had.
