Cardiac Arrhythmia Service
The Pediatric Cardiac Arrhythmia Service at Children's Hospital evaluates and treats all types of irregular heartbeats.
We offer special expertise in arrhythmias children inherit. We also specialize in those related to other heart conditions, including complex heart disease present at birth.
We perform more than 300 electrophysiology (EP) tests each year. This test studies the electrical activity in the heart. That way, we can find the place causing the irregular heartbeat.
Our service performs both invasive and non-invasive heart evaluations and treatments.
Conditions We Treat
We treat all cardiac arrhythmia conditions, including:
- Andersen-Tawil syndrome
- Atrioventricular (AV) heart block
- Brugada syndrome
- Ectopic heart rhythms
- Long QT syndrome
- Sinus node dysfunction
