Cardio-Oncology
The Pediatric Cardio-Oncology Program at Children's Hospital is one of only a few such programs in the nation. We seek to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care for every kind of cancer treatment. Our clinic's two dedicated cardiologists are experts in pediatric cardiomyopathy, heart failure and heart transplantation.
Our Cardio-Oncology Clinic evaluates and treats cancer survivors who show cardiac dysfunction. We also provide early cardiology involvement for patients at the highest risk of cardiovascular disease.
We provide recommended screening based on the Children's Oncology Group guidelines. Our clinic also offers more comprehensive cardiac assessment through the use of advanced imaging techniques, exercise testing, ambulatory electrocardiography and assessment of cardiac biomarkers.
Conditions We Treat
