Weight Management Services

Healthy lifestyles, healthy families, healthy children

Vanderbilt's Pediatric Weight Management Services provides referrals depending on your child's weight-related conditions.

Children with a body mass index (BMI) greater than or equal to the 95th percentile for age and sex may have other chronic medical conditions, such as pre-type 2 diabetes, hyperlipidemia or refractory obstructive sleep apnea. If this is the case with your child, we provide integrated behavioral services in our Children's Hospital specialty clinics. This means your family can see multiple specialists within one visit.

Meet Your Care Team

As part of your multidisciplinary clinic visit, your child will see one of our two weight management specialists.
